Baby and Child CPR & First Aid Sessions

Would you know how to recognise and respond to your sick or injured child, with confidence?

Babies and children are inquisitive, adventurous and can become unwell quickly. From cuts and scrapes to breathing problems it’s vital that you have the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency.

We are proud to offer a limited number of 90 minute First Aid sessions by CPR Kids at the Show. The course costs $39 per person and covers the following:

– CPR for Babies
– CPR for Children
– First-aid for choking baby or child
– Burns
– Poisoning

The CPR Kids CPR & First Aid Sessions are taught by paediatric critical care nurses who have experienced everything they teach. These classes will prepare you for WHAT to do but also HOW to do it – when each second counts. Find out more at

These courses are focused on babies and children from birth to 8 years of age, and are ideal for parents and grandparents. The 90-minute sessions are conducted by paediatric nurses with a significant background in education to both parents and clinical staff.

Babies and breastfeeding are welcome at all sessions except the 2:15pm Saturday and Sunday session which are child-free sessions. If you have a baby that is mobile or older and you do not have someone to care for them while you learn, we also have daily choking demonstrations on the main stage.

Please note that the course venue is within the ICC, Darling Harbour. Pram storage facilities will be provided during course times.
